Seer's memories
Seer's memories
A figure stood in a void that twinkled softly like thousands of stars were around him, cloaked in a grey robe, a blue scarf blowing in a non existent wind. They seemed entirely involved in whatever they were doing. You approach him and gently tug on the scarf causing them to look at you. "Yes?", he asked lowering a screen. "Hey, Cosmic dad, you said you had siblings right?", you ask. "Yes. I do, why? What of them?", he asked turning to face you. He was tall, but not exactly imposing. His hands were disembodied, but had white cufflinks on the end. "Well, do you mind if you..." you put on your best fake noble voice "Regale me with the tragic woes of your 'childhood'?", you say , a smug grin at the end. He pauses for a minute before responding "Very well.", he says before a couch seemingly made of space rose behind you, it gently twinkled. You sat down ready to be regaled in your adopted father's stories. "Let's begin where all good stories do. At the beginning, or my creation."
A void surrounded me that twinkled like thousands of stars. As I opened my eyes, I reeled back startled by a giant incomprehensible figure before me. "Do not fear Aimon." It spoke, in a calming voice, almost as if a father comforting their child, and while I had never heard this name before, I could tell it was mine. I calmed myself swiftly and looked at the figure. I began to gather my thoughts, perhaps to question why I was here, before in a flash it stood before me, in the form of a human with flowing white hair, and he looked at me extending a hand to me, imploring me to take it. I grabbed his hand and he led me towards a group of figures like me, but also drastically different. "This is your final brother.", he spoke. All of them turned to look at me causing me to flinch. "Now, I wish to give you all a gift.. You are all Seers. So I will entrust you all with a universe of your own. Curated to each one of you. One at a time please now." He extended his hand and each time a different Seer was to grab it, they would vanish and return with father shortly. As it was time for me to go with him, I grabbed his hand and I appeared in a void, black as pitch, with a view of a boy wearing a blue hood on screen before me, as well as a peculiar man covered in black fur. Before I could question I felt something in my hand. I looked at it only to see it was a crystal that shined with a soft glow. "Keep this a secret from your siblings.", he said shushing me. I nodded placing the crystal on the floor gently before we returned to my siblings. Father smiled softly at us. "If any of you should need me, I will be here. Do not fear." He spoke in the same calming voice. One by one, a Seer had vanished, going to their voids. Despite the oddity of it all, I could tell we all knew what we needed to do. I had left for my void and did what I somehow knew was right. I observed my world, as a Seer should. Unfortunately, the story of my creation is not very interesting.
"Booooooo, that's it?" Cynthia said. I chuckled silently. "For now, I will regale you in more at a later date."
